Beautiful artisanal produce is readily available (the 3 times weekly market in Annecy is not to be missed!), along with great daily bakery from "Le Fournil de mon Père", local butchers, fine pâtisseries and cheeses and the 8-à-8 supermarkets.
For special occasions, there are various beautifully located Michelin-starred restaurants nearby. Jean Sulpice of the Auberge du Père Bise Talloires, Yoann Conte in Veyrier-du-lac, Marc Veyrat in Manigod and the classic Abbaye in Talloires.
Classic French fare never disappoints at Talloires' local Café de la Place, while Le Chalet la Pricaz and Chalet de l'Aulp have great local charcuterie, fondue, raclette and local génépi liqueur.
